From 16 March 2015 Spider’s Appeal ceased to support NGO Educational Trust because it completely failed to comply with specified requirements governing the usage of donated funds.


All previous donations (from 1 October 2003 to 15 March 2015) totalling £202,766.83 are required to be forwarded from NGOET to Heritage Concern Foundation which will fully satisfy those requirements.

Spider’s Younger and Elder Beater Awards

Spider’s Younger Beater of the Season

Spider’s Appeal has established two annual awards in order to emphasise the priceless value of countryside and health, and to

encourage more people of any age to benefit by involvement.

The 2006/07 Season winner is Libby Steadman, age 7, of Wykeham, N Yorkshire.

The 2007/08 Season winner is Sam Lawie, age 5, of the Martin Shoot, Lincolnshire.

The 2008/09 Season winner is Charlie Higgins, age 4, of the Pighill Shoot, Isle of Man.

The 2009/10 Season winner is Daniel Fitzer, age 10, of Carlton Towers, W Yorkshire.

The 2010/11 Season winner is Flo Thompson, age 4, of East Woodhay Shoot, Hampshire.

The 2011/12 Season winner is Kyren Butler, age 4, of Tanderlane Shoot, East Lothian.

The 2012/13 Season winner is Max Craig, age 3, of Falkland Estate Shoot, Fifeshire
